SBN's GSI 2021 Operations & Maintenance Course
This immersive and experiential multi-day course provides landscape professionals with a basic framework and the tools needed to expand their portfolio, advance their skillset, and build knowledge of GSI and sustainable stormwater management that will increase their business’ bottom line. This course balances virtual classroom instruction with in-the-field learning and brings together expert instructors from the public and private sectors, including SBN’s GSI Partners members and the Philadelphia Water Department.
Attendees will leave this course with a basic understanding of the regulatory context of stormwater management, BMPs and their components, how to maintain the vegetation and above-ground components using adaptive and prescriptive management techniques, and how to diagnose and respond to safety and performance issues. Since part of this course will be in-person, we ask that you fill out a brief screening to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.* Please note that we will send out a questionnaire affirming that all attendees are vaccinated and have not experienced COVID-19 like symptoms, which will determine your ability to participate in the in-person field day.
To help keep you and our community safe, vaccinations are mandatory for all in-person SBN events. Masks are required, regardless of vaccinations status, at indoor events, while masks are strongly encouraged at outdoor events. If you are experiencing symptoms or are sick, please stay home. SBN also honors any future guidelines set in place.
