Join us Wednesday, November 16, from 6 – 8 pm, for SBN’s next Member Open House at Solar States! Learn about Solar States’ business operations, see demonstrations of their work and tour their workshop, and hear their collaborations and practices, specifically through workforce development initiatives. Guests can expect to network over light fare, beer, and wine and as always, explore ways to maximize your SBN experience and deepen your connections within Greater Philadelphia’s impact economy.

About Solar States:

Solar States is a local solar design build firm.  We are a fully integrated contractor with inhouse staff supporting customers through every stage of the installation process. Our offices are in Olde Kensington at Jefferson and American Streets and while more expensive we intentionally have our headquarters and warehouse in Philadelphia to support our workforce development mission. In fact we are the only solar installer based in Philadelphia.  We are not only solar installers but we are also solar educators and are the on ramp to the green collar economy.  We run a variety of training programs and are a NABCEP accredited curriculum provider.  We see our mission of improving community, providing great careers oriented toward future growth, while helping our planet.
