SBN’s GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting – Thursday, July 21

GSI Partners are invited to join us for our next Quarterly Meeting in-person to learn from research conducted by OLIN Labs that explores the relationship between labor and equity and provides recommendations for innovative and proven tools for building a more equitable workforce. In addition, attendees will learn about an exciting new tool presented by the Philadelphia Water Department’s Stormwater Grants team. 

This meeting will be held at OLIN Studio’s offices at 1617 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Suite 1900, Philadelphia, PA 19103. A light breakfast will be provided for attendees. OLIN Labs will present their Good Green Jobs and Paid Placekeeping, which was developed to understand current realities and possible futures for green jobs. OLIN Labs explores the existing structures that create inequities in the green labor workforce, identifies the challenges that today’s laborers face as the green work sectors grow, and develops tools to allow designers to join stakeholders, communities, and decision-makers to create good green jobs.

The Philadelphia Water Department will also provide updates on the Stormwater Grants Program, including upcoming changes to the grant cycle and the launch of the new web application, Stormwater Connect. Stormwater Connect can be used to connect property owners interested in stormwater management to vendors that participate in the grants program.
