Join us for our virtual roundtable discussion with Michael Rashid, Commerce Director for the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Commerce. Rashid was appointed Commerce Director by Mayor Kenney in November 2020 and came to the City with decades of experience in the private sector. 

SBN members will get a chance to meet with the newly appointed Commerce Director, hear his top priorities for rebuilding our local economy, and share updates on available resources through the Commerce Department for local independent businesses. Rashid will also his department’s budget priorities heading into the City’s budget negotiations.

Rashid will field your questions with SBN’s Government Relations Manager, Kindra Mohr, moderating the discussion.
