Philly Unwrapped Virtual Info Session
Summary
Description
SBN is excited to announce the start of a new project, Philly Unwrapped, a local coalition committed to bringing together the food business community and sustainability movement around the important issue of single-use packaging waste and how it impacts our bottom line, our city streets, and our health.
The Philly Unwrapped project aims to provide valuable resources and tools to local food businesses to assist them in a just transition from hazardous packaging methods, while exploring community-centered solutions to reducing and eliminating single-use plastic waste. This project endeavors to bring together local business owners, community organizations, and government leaders to realize our mission of reducing single-use plastic packaging in the local food sector. In March, we will be hosting two informational sessions and extend a warm invitation to local business owners, commercial corridor managers, environmental organizations, chambers of commerce, and others interested in learning more about our initiative. Your participation is crucial in making Philly Unwrapped a resounding success.
Join us to learn how you can join our movement to reduce single-use plastic packaging and waste in the local food sector.
